Sent this photo to my brother a police officer in Chicago, his response.

"They only have one cop in Houston?"

Oh, they have many more cops, but they also have hundreds of Shipley's Donut shops. They all look alike, and they all have horrible donuts. They're pretty much identical to Krispy Kreme, which I can't eat. YMMV.

Funny I could see a bail bond place from my hotel also, is that some kind of hint about Houston (just stay away from the Do-Nut shop). I have always loved the Wiener Mobile, now we need a Wiener Helicopter.

Was a cop for 8 years in California---did a ride along in Houston and it is one TOUGH town!!!

Shipley's is the best donuts made. when I moved to Colorado, I was most pissed about lack of Shipleys, and lack of Whataburger.

Wish I had known, would have gone in for a donut or three. If only I had a guide when I was in Houston.

I spent several weeks in Houston last summer. Never heard of Whataburger before, but now it is one of the things I miss most about Houston.

I never really cared for Whataburger. But what I missed most was Blue Bell ice cream and real BBQ. And I almost forgot, Kolaches.
