I just received a letter from the city of Fort Worth stating they are conducting a "Heliport Feasibility and Siting Study" to determine the need for a Public Use Heliport near the Fort Worth Central Business District. To gather information they have established www.ftworthheliportsurvey.com. With the information the survey provides, a determination will be made by the City of Fort Worth as to whether there is sufficient demand for a Public Use Heliport. The letter asks for responses to the survey no later than March 31, 2010. Fort Worth Texas NEEDS a public heliport so if you have any connection with the area I would encourage you to do the quick survey.
