setlab Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Anyone know how medical waivers are usually done? I just got a call from my recruiter saying that the flight surgeon won't even look at me because I have a VA disability of %10 for Tinnitus and hearing loss from prior service. I passed the hearing test at MEPS, I can't see this as an issue. My recruiter said it will take a few days for him to find out if I can get a waiver, what kind of process will I have to go threw to get one? Will I need to be looked at by the flight surgeon that says he won't look at me to get that waiver? Quote
