Goldy
So I know there are only about 10 VR members from the So Cal area, but you never know who may be lurking about ! Simon from Elite Helicopters in Van Nuys has offered to host a Holiday Hangar BBQ at his place on December 20th, that's next Thursday night starting at 4pm. He is located in the SW Corner of the airfield, at the end of Rwy 16R. Park in the lot off Vanowen street, right next to the Schafer ambulance facility. This is open to ALL helicopter pilots in the So Cal area, and it should be a blast! If you think us Los Angeles area pilots have too much fun, well you would be correct! Again, no membership anywhere required, no cost, no fees, just fly or drive in and eat and have fun! Hope to see you there, Goldy

Will we really be in trouble if County Air Ops or LA City Air Ops or REACH shows up? Got the stomach flu last Christmas eve at 10:00 PM, at the Grand Canyon no less & trying to avoid round 2012. Ever felt like... Anyways, nice to have a bunch of 1st responders available in any case. I'll see if I can make it. Maybe will bring the Rotorus MedioChris Superious if it's okey dokey. Thanks for posting the invite & Simon for offering the host - looking forward to it, schedule permitting. -WATCH FOR THE PATTERNS, WATCH FOR THE WIRES-
jim_222
Only 10? No... we should be more than that... but who knows? Anyway... Free food, airport, helicopterius, good people... that's an offer one can hardly refuse... I 'll probably be there, too. (I hope I don't scare people away) Goldy, thanks for also posting it on the facebook page, I saw it there first. Last but not least, many thanks to Simon, too. Oh, I almost forgot: should I be concerned that I have no idea who/what Rotorus MedioChris Superious is? It sounds interesting, that's for sure...
