supergokougt Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 I started pricing around some life insurance. Pretty crazy what they wanted for a term. What are you guys paying for life insurance? They offered a waiver that if anything happened while flying they wouldn't pay out. But cover the rest of life. I have some insurance at the places I work but I want to supplement it. I looked into one of the pilot insurances but didn't cover my state. 2 Quote
S9coldfire Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Check out AOPA life insurance. They don't have any aviation exclusions (that I'm aware of). Depending on your age and tobacco use they have rates as low as 8.3 cents per $1,000 of coverage ($83/month for $1 million policy) Quote
rotornut67 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 AOPA is a good deal...I don't mean to sidetrack the thread, but I opted to keep my SGLI policy when it got out of the Army. Does anyone know if it has aviation exclusions? This thread just made me realize that I had never bothered to check. I've been out for 14 years and kept it because of the price. I am going to check, but any insight is appreciated. Thanks Quote
