HAI's Awards Committee met October 25-26, to select the winners of HAI's prestigious "Salute to Excellence" Awards. The Salute to Excellence awards program, now in its 44th year, recognizes outstanding achievement performed by individuals or companies in the civil helicopter industry. Winners will be recognized during the HAI "Salute to Excellence" banquet and awards ceremony to be held on February 7, 2005, at HELI-EXPO 2005 in Anaheim, California. THE WINNERS ARE: MD HELICOPTERS LAW ENFORCEMENT AWARD: Lt. Craig Neubecker, Lt. Shawn Koch, and Avionics Electronics Tech, 1st Class, William Greer; HITRON Jacksonville, United States Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security This is the same crew that earlier in the year won the Airborne Law Enforcement Association's Aircrew of the Year Award.
