300 mechanic Posted July 19, 2023 Report Share Posted July 19, 2023 Anyone else out there have difficulties with a change in vendor pitch case bearings for 300c ITB (new vendor) machined the bearings .0015” to thin on inside journal Schweitzers fix was to machine new spacer to suit but these have to be within one tenth of a thou we managed to do this but still getting bad feed back through cyclic we machined several sets of journals still didn’t fix the problem received a set of pitch cases from factory still no good loaned a set of pitch cases from another 300C (original bearing vendor) and viola problem solved Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
