Ross85 Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Does anyone know on average how much an ag pilot makes? How much either per hour or per pound of fertalizer, or how much per mud mat? I live in Mass. and most of the ag stuff is for cranberries. Thanks Quote

ThanksOn Average - I think 17-20% of the gross is quite common, for marketable productive pilots. Can vary depending on crop, rate to the acre etc.most production will run around $800-1200 flt/hour depending on type of work and weather dry or liquid type work-- these are averages-- there are some types of work that can run even better than these listed but not the norm , such as high gal/ac. work-- Gypsy moth projects , Timber release etc. as acreage is usually high and production levels are high. I have not worked cranberries, so not in tune with costs or production levels they do. Some Co. that work cranberries - Maine heli, Ryan rotors, JBI heligood luck Quote
