Goldy Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 The FAA has free safety seminars on various topics all over the US. Here in Los Angeles, they have them every weekend. I notice almost no students ever attend, and yet there is so much good info to learn, for FREE ! A lot of this info relates directly to questions on the FAA exam ( like airspace req's). So just in case students don't know about this here is a link: http://www.faasafety.gov/SPANS/ Just sign up and the FAA will send you an email when a seminar is scheduled. No, I dont work for the FAA, its just a good service that you guys aren't taking advantage of !! Drive safe. Goldy Quote

Guest rookie101 Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Rey posts whenever there is some safety seminar at the bottome of the page- board statistics I beleive. I would be interested to see how many people went to that. Now the question is if these one's are free or not? This link goes to the annoucment and desription of the seminar (nowhere does it say you have to pay so it might have been free). This one has already come and gone.http://helicopterforum.verticalreference.com/helicopterfor...amp;event_id=13 Quote
