Dreamer2 Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Hi All, I just have a few questions on the best way to go about submitting a flight packet for the Army. I am currently IRR, I have 4.5 years of active service and I want to go back in as an aviator. I spoke to a recruiter who told me that it would be easier for me to attach myself to a reserve unit and submit the packet since it eliminates quite a few requirements. The only thing I am concerned about is getting deployed while waiting for a response. Been there, done that and although I am pretty sure it will happen eventually, right now would be reallllllly inconvenient. I am trying to make the board for November. Any thoughts on how to go about it? Also, what is the best way to prepare for the AFAST? Any advice is welcome. Quote
mechanic Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 HI Dreamer2, If you use the search feature you will get a few hits on this subject. Also, down towards the bottom of the forums list, is a Military Forum. They have a few threads about the packet down there. Good luck with your packet! Quote
