Four Winds
Hey guys, As part of my A&P schooling, I have to give a four hour presentation on the Allison 250 engine in my turbine engines class. I am searching for reference material regarding this engine. I need to cover the engines history, operating procedures, and idiosycracies. I am searching for web sites with photos or technical data that I could incorporate into my presentation. Also, any first hand experience with this engine would be helpful. Thanks, Brad
justanengineer
Brad:Get a hold of Rolls/Royce or Standard Aero for training info, they are the best.

Gomer Pylot
The 250 series hasn't been owned by Allison in some time. Rolls Royce bought the engine rights and now produces them. You may have more luck searching under Rolls Royce.
