Allison 250

[Four Winds]

Hey guys,

 

As part of my A&P schooling, I have to give a four hour presentation on the Allison 250 engine in my turbine engines class. I am searching for reference material regarding this engine. I need to cover the engines history, operating procedures, and idiosycracies. I am searching for web sites with photos or technical data that I could incorporate into my presentation. Also, any first hand experience with this engine would be helpful.

Google Images is a great place to find images you can easily incorporate into a (PowerPoint) presentation.

The 250 series hasn't been owned by Allison in some time. Rolls Royce bought the engine rights and now produces them. You may have more luck searching under Rolls Royce.
