I was without power all afternoon, just got power back about an hour ago. Check out the damage. Newspaper says 50 of ERAU's planes damaged. Wow. Castaway Posted December 26, 2006 Report Share Posted December 26, 2006 not only was 3/4 of their aircraft DESTROYED, but the whole school took a beating. the hangars and buildings looked like a war zone. glad to hear everyone is safe up there. all we had here was gusty winds to 30 and moderate rain! more on the way next weekend....... I'm glad nobody was killed. I drove around and went west of town. I saw an old lady hauling the clothes out of her destroyed house. She was smiling. When I asked her why she was smiling, I thought she was going to say because no one was hurt, but she just quiped " Because I've good good insurance" .. Here's another pic..
