klmmarine Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 I am just about to start my training and I was wondering which of all the dvd/computer based software programs are the best. I have looked at Kings, but then I found the "Aviator Academy" internet based program. I was just wondering if anyone had used either of these programs and what their thoughts were. I work on a boat in the Gulf of Mexico for 28 days at a time so I would like to do most of my written test prep and ground instruction on my own so that when I am home (14 days at a time) I can really just focus on flying. My instructor says that I can email him any time I have questions so I will have that support, so I guess my question is which program is the most thorough, and best covers the helicopter knowledge. Thanks for your input and feel free to pass on any tips for the new guy. Quote
