HeliZach Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 (edited) Ok, so I've been having a bad week. On Thursday, some 17 year old decided that it would be cool to t-bone me in the middle of an intersection and put my car out of service for awhile. Then today I slipped on ice and broke my coccyx (tailbone). I can tell you that it hurts pretty bad! In time it will heal though. Anyways, I hope i'm just over worrying but this wouldn't be a disqualifying medical condition would it? What about for a medical exam for the military? In time it will heal and shouldn't affect pilot performance so hopefully i'll be in the clear. Let me know if anyone has experience with this type of injury. Thanks guys! fatnlazy Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 That would make you a broke azz pilot! Quote
PhotoFlyer Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Don't worry about it. I had a broken hip when I got my medical. The doctor just wanted to know what happened, and that was that. I had a hairline fracture in my right hip, courtesy of a patch of ice while skiing. Looking back, it's kind of funny how it happened. But, that story is for another forum. Quote
HeliZach Posted January 24, 2007 Author Posted January 24, 2007 Thanks guys, I was pretty sure I was over-reacting, just wanted to make sure. If you haven't already checked it out, the link that James28 posted is quite helpful! Quote
