Whistlerpilot
I am a dual US/Canadian citizen living in British Columbia. I work as a helicopter ski guide in the winter, and after much consideration I am planning to start commercial pilot training in July. I am wondering if anyone has any opinions on Canadian versus US training? I have done 2 hours with different Bell 47 and 300CBi schools in Abottsford BC. I am going to do a few hours with a R22 school based out of Burlington WA next week. One idea is do PPL in US and CPL in Canada. My plan is to work in Canada primarily, but with dual citizenship I will go where there is work. Any advice?
volition
First, do your commercial in the states, then convert it to a canadian one if your working there. Plus it will be much, much less expensive, and you'll have 150 hours.
