Thanks for any input, J Geo-Seis Helicopters IncFort Collins, CO 970-484-3600 Plenty of birds that can handle a 8,000 pound payload...Most of them probably built by Sikorsky !! ( S-64 does 20,000 lbs in its sleep) The problem is more finding someone that has one close to Denver so you are not paying a lot of transportation hourly costs....Geo-seis is both a part 135 and heavy lift rated operation( part 133)....I would check into them first...but no first hand experience.
