Hello ALL,

I am searching for locations where I can get my R44 endorsment.

All my hours (250h helicopter) are build in R22 and R44. I have 120h in R44 as PIC and made some of my CFI training in R44 as well. But we do have here in Puerto Rico nobody who can endorse us as CFI in a R44.

Any suggestions where to go (maybe FL or so?)

Thank you for helping. SL

There's a place in Monroe, MI, that does it. I think that might be a remote base for the main company in Ann Arbor, MI.

there is no school in monroe or ann arbor anymore. but i operate a r-44 out of toledo and there are several helicopter examiners in the area that could give the sign off.

Actually, I'm doing just that very thing next week in Vero Beach, Florida. The examiner's name is Gerry Currant and his number is: 305.467.3296. He did my R22 signoff as well.

Steve Clegg in Daytona Beach is really good pilot examiner in the Daytona Beach area. He does R22 & R44, including the instructor SFAR. His number is (386) 451-8978. He gets booked up pretty far in advance though, so you'll have to call him at least a week in advance. Orlando Flight Training in Kissimmee (KISM) has an R44 that he has flown before. Otherwise, he might be able to come up with an R44 that you can use.
