brushfire21 Posted August 2, 2007 Report Share Posted August 2, 2007 Not sure where you going with this, but there are some limitations or restrictions on when you can fly/shutdown, not necessarily time based. I think there was a minimum oil pressure/temperature before liftoff, and was instructed to performed a 2 minute cool down period prior to shutting off the engine. Some will do the cool down based upon reaching a set oil temperature as well, then shutting down. I am sure someone else has a few additions as well.
