Getting Started

I need some advice in getting started. I've researched a couple of instructional courses and found that I need to get my private, commercial and instrument licenses. Is this the best way to go, and if so, where is the best place to look for employment? The cost for these 3 licenses is approx $50,000. I am 25 years old with a bachelor's degree from CSULB. I would be looking for employment in the Orange County, CA area. I am 100% serious about this. Any and all advice/suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
