PA Pilot Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 At the Robinson Safety course they show a home video of an R22 Mariner in Britain getting into a low RPM main rotor stall condition (with the expected result). I've been trying to find that video on the web for a friend who is a student pilot. Anybody seen it anywhere? Quote
delorean Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 I've only seen that and the other British video of the one going into the powerlines through RHC's course. They show both on the SFAR 73 tape--which that student should be watching as part of the Awareness Training. If you have a digital video camera, you can usually convert it. Plug your VHS video output into the video imput on the digital camera. Quote
Skints Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 The Robinson factory safety training course can be bought on ebay in DVD format. Quote
TheLorax Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 is it bootlegged? did someone seriously bring a camera into the course to secretly record it, just to sell it and make millions? why doesn't RHC sell it? Quote
jehh Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 is it bootlegged? did someone seriously bring a camera into the course to secretly record it, just to sell it and make millions? why doesn't RHC sell it? Robinson does sell it: http://www.robinsonheli.com/prodman.htm $20 for the VHS version, $30 for the DVD version. You really should read the materials on Robinson's web site, lots of good stuff there... Quote
Gerhardt Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 and once you buy the dvd, post it on youtube for the rest of us. Quote
TheLorax Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 haha, i would've guessed RHC's website would be the first place to look.. Quote
