Guest rotorflyr84
I was flippin through a magazine here at work, and there was a pic of a pilot flying a 206 for DHL out of NY. I went to the DHL site to check if they had any info about pilot positions, etc, but nothing I could find. Anyone familiar with their operations and how they operate? Just curious, thanks a lot! delorean
Yeah, and if you look at the picture, it shows the cockpit of an EC 120 or 130, but the outside of a B206L. I think this has been discussed before and the conclusion was that DHL did use a helicopter to transport letter and parcels in NYC, however, it was contracted out to one of the local operators. Kind of like the purple Scottrade helicopter I keep seeing their president fly around on TV. Never seen it here at the corp HQs in St. Louis. Just a marketing gimmick.
