;) So I got my hard copy Commercial Rotorcraft/Helicopter Certificate in the mail yesterday, and today had it punched and invalidated in favor of a Commerical/Instrument Rotorcraft Helicopter Certificate. It was in my hands for less than 24 hours before it was rendered invalid.

Now I have a new challenge for myself, I am going to try to finish my CFI and get a temporary certificate before my hard copy instrument card gets here. I like the idea of staying one step ahead of the FAA. :P

Back to the books.

You get a very low evaluation for having set such low goals for yourself. Anyone who can't stay ahead of the FAA is simply mentally retarded. Bureaucracy in general moves at glacial speed, and the FAA can't even keep up with most bureaucracies.

Well, thanks Gomer, for a little extra incentive. It took 60 days for me to get my commercial hard copy. So I figured that gave me 60 days to get through a 141 CFI program. But since that is not setting my goals high enough, I will get through BOTH CFI, and CFII before my new license comes. I will make sure to keep the board updated.

Keith, for once I disagree with Gomer, even though he was just making a political statement!

Congratualtions on a great job ! good luck on the CFI

Good job there Keith! I'll pass the word to the appropriate partys.

We did the Mountain Flying Ground School at HeliExpo today. Very good instructor from Canadian Helicopters Ltd. After you finish the double I you should go take their full course up in British Columbia - 3 weeks and 36 grand!!!! (that's in US currency)

So many courses, so little.... money. I would love to do a Mountain Course in BC but I think I'll have to wait a little while on that one.
