I am responding in an effort to cool down the Rumor Mill. Posters on JH started it and frankly have posted some of the most disgusting things about Classic Helicopters in general, and Karen Walling the president/founder specifically.

CLASSIC HELICOPTERS IS NOT CLOSING ITS DOORS!

The Classic Helicopters management team, has decided to emphasize the one thing that has consistently been their strong suit:

Flight Training.

For 27 years Classic has been training some of the best pilots in the industry, and will continue to do so. Yes there are some changes happening, but Classic continues to be one of the best places in the country to receive quality Flight Instruction.

I have been a full time student at Classic since July (I basically live in the office). There have been many ups and downs over the past several months (personal and otherwise), but Classic has remained absolutely dedicated to the personal attention, and quality education of all their students. Most recently Classic has stepped up to help local students and flight instructors, shafted by the SSH scandal. The people at Classic Helicopters are top notch. The instructors are skilled and knowledgeable, and the maintenance is above reproach.

I am on the back side of my flight training mountain. I plan to finish CFI and CFII by mid-April. If anyone has any questions about Classic, its instructors, or anything else do not hesitate to send me a PM.

To the Detractors- Keep your negative rumor mill gossip on the other forum. Unless you know what you are talking about and are willing to be accountable for your statements, that is where you belong.
