flewthecoupe Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 My flight bag was stolen out of my car so I'm searching for a new headset... Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with the H10-66's? I'll probably be flying mostly Robbie's for now but in the future who knows what will happen. I like the idea of the dual impedence switch for military/civilian heli's. Thoughts anyone? Thanks,Michael Quote
Gomer Pylot Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 (edited) If you need the dual impedance, they are a good choice. I prefer the lightweight in-the-ear headsets, but they aren't dual impedance, and I don't need it. You simply cannot beat DC's customer service and reliability. relyon Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 I have a David Clark H10-56 which is the single impedence version of the same headset to my knowledge. It has a very high passive noise reduction rating. I agree with Gomer Pylot's opinion of their customer service. Bob Quote

Thanks,Michael I own an older set of DC H10-66's and I love them. I did all my training in the R-22, but have also usd them in an OH-58. They worked great. Chris Quote
UCT2 Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 I ate to answer a question with a question but I'm going to do it anyway. I have been looking at buying the Denali ANR headset from flightcomm. I agree with the other posts about protecting all ranges of hearing. This headset has PNR as well as ANR and they are light weight. Any reviews or comments about this headset? Thanks, Terry Quote

Thanks,Michael I have been considering changing headsets. I have a set of H10-26 DC that I have barely used because my schools have provided similar headsets in the aircraft. They have the solid black mic boom. PM me an offer if interested. Quote
