RtrCFI Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Hello,I am new to the 300CBi and familiarizing myself with a copy of the Jeppesen Information Manual. However, I have yet to find any figures on fuel burn calculations. Can anyone help? Quote
PhotoFlyer Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 You won't find a figure in the CBi manual, they don't publish those figures. I teach 12gal/hr for flight planning purposes, but it will probably burn a little bit less. Quote
jehh Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 In my experience, the 300CBi averages just over 10.5 gallons per hour. That number is obtained by taking the fuel purchased each month and dividing by the number of hours flown. In truth, I'm sure it burns more sometimes and less others, depending on temperature, weight, power settings, etc. When the fuel gauge gets below 10 gallons, it is time to find a place to land in the next 15 minutes. joker Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 (edited) The figures are published I think, but not as part of the POH. (At least I know they are there for the R22. I presume the same source is available for the 300CB) Joker Edited June 10, 2008 by joker Quote
