I was wondering if there are any of you here in FL that are putting together a WOFT packet as well? If so, do make yourself known! I am told that the next board is in April 2011 time frame. Apparently they don't even post the slots etc. till the new FY. Since I had the degree, the CO said something like this (7 yrs ago), "I won't give you a warrant slot, I've got NCOs here that have earned that position, but If you're willing to go Commissioned, I'll give you a slot." And so I did..... what a dumba** mistake, but thats life, we live and learn. devildog! I used to hate it when folks called me that; It just means subordinate Marine... anyway, keep working at it, you'll get what you want! 2nd battalion, 2nd to none!
