Raptor50 Posted February 5, 2012 Report Share Posted February 5, 2012 153A Army Rotary Wing Aviators, Does anyone know what type of auditory device the physician uses to check your ears for a Class 1A physical for WOFT? I have a very small pin-hole of a perforated ear drum. When my ENT physician has examined my ear with just a lighted magnified instrument, he cannot view my perforation, but when he uses a machine that operates similar to a sonar, this machine will detect a small perforation. I am curious if I should go ahead and get the perforation repaired or cross my fingers and hope it will not be discovered. Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
