thedumbestguy Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 This is a stupid question but I need some glasses. Do I need to get a reference from a flight surgeon to make an appt or can I just go in there myself? I've been trying to call the clinic but haven't gotten an answer yet. I'm an active duty Army aviator if that helps answer my question. My last actual eye exam was during basic training a few years ago when I got issued my BCGs. Never got another real exam when I went through Rucker and wasn't issued all the fancy glasses I see people wearing. Quote
CharyouTree Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 How did you get a class 1 without getting an eye exam? Quote
thedumbestguy Posted March 7, 2012 Author Posted March 7, 2012 I have glasses, but I lost my prescription and my civilian one expired. I've had vision tests of course, but not an actual eye exam. "Which is better, 1 or 2? 3 or 4?" I'm down to one pair of glasses so I'm trying to get new ones. Quote
