Does your AME want to see what you are getting disability for from the VA? The counselors that pre-screen your records want to put a bunch of stuff down as a claim, but does this cause more scrutiny during your FAA medical, even if it's not a "grounding" condition?Any stories out there of what not to do when it comes time for the VA claim? d10 Posted June 6, 2014 Report Share Posted June 6, 2014 I don't have direct experience with it because I want nothing to do with the VA, but everyone I work with has disability ratings ranging from 20-100% and they've been getting FAA medicals for years.
