Seat pads?

Recommended Posts

I swear by the gel pad…. Maybe not in the “smaller” category depending on your starting point but, you’ll want it to cover your entire backside…… Personally, I didn’t have any luck with any “foam” products including the Oregon products….

McKenzie Self-Inflating Airback for lumbar support. Has greatly reduced back discomfort while flying (and in the car). Takes a couple seconds to inflate/deflate; super easy to fold up and pack.

I also use a ROHO wheelchair cushion when flying in the MD500. I take the aircraft seat cushion out and replace it w/ the ROHO. Very comfortable, good quality and comes in a variety of dimensions. I got mine used from a friend; he had it for 2 years and I've been using it for about 4 months; have had only one very small leak so far (which was easily fixed w/ the patch kit that comes w/ it).
