Astro Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Anyone know if they're going to start using the R44 Cadet for the Safety Course now? Quote
Astro Posted October 16, 2016 Author Posted October 16, 2016 Just took a look at the application. The price for the R44 has gone up to $700 bucks! YIKES!!! It was around $500 a couple years ago, so I'm guessing they're not using the Cadet for the course. Glad I don't HAVE to go now! Damn! Quote
wbrady755 Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Honestly though, for what you get, I think RHC is cutting you a pretty good deal. Aviation instruction from seasoned pilots, a 1.0 on the Hobbs, some real in-depth knowledge, and most importantly: Free donuts every morning... 1 Quote

Aviation instruction from seasoned pilots, a 1.0 on the Hobbs, some real in-depth knowledge, and most importantly: Free donuts every morning...Lets put it this way. I've already been to the course and was considering going back for my R44 flight review, but for $700 bucks I'd rather just stay home and get it done locally, for less! I was hoping the Cadet would bring prices down, not up! Not much of a donut guy, but the muffins were ok Quote
r22butters Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Hmmm, in almost fourteen years I've been to that course five times and its always been like $550 for the 44. If they want me to pay an extra $150 I'm gonna need more than free donuts! ,...like blueberry pancakes and a breakfast burrito,...and no more of those crappy sandwiches for lunch! A hundred and fifty more samollies is certainly enough for pizza, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs!!!!!!!!!! Quote
