Does the school and/or the machine you train...

Recommended Posts

Right now, the future is a very tough job market.

The Cabri is very appealing but the R22 looked a disaster at a comparable point in its fielding. The school I worked then took a sales ride in one and emphatically(!) declined to use, buy, lease or operate them.

I don't quite get this? What's wrong with the Cabri?

Nothing wrong with the Cabri as far as I know. I don't think the type have a significant presence right now, nor will they be so until flight training picks up significantly. It takes a lot of hours to offset the costs of a new airframe, much less a new type.
