Eric Hunt Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Hmmm... very flat approaches, which might not give you much opportunity to bug out when you run short of power / tail rotor pedal / headwind? Quote

Jaybee Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Hmmm... very flat approaches, which might not give you much opportunity to bug out when you run short of power / tail rotor pedal / headwind? I was thinking the same thing on the water platform landings. Way too shallow, power available or not is not the problem, a sudden lack of power is. Sure, sure armchair quarterbacking I know - no one gets out of this life alive, if you steepen up your approaches you may extend your stay. Only trying to be helpful not pot shotting you. Great looking bird ! 1 Quote
