I think if the price was right these ships would sell like hotcakes and the company would make a fortune and hopefully provide some well needed competition and incentive for other helicopter companies to lower their prices.... dlo Posted October 31, 2006 Report Share Posted October 31, 2006 yes the smart copter looks cool and might actually make it to the market someday. but until then I think we are all stuck accepting the fact that helicopters are a very expensive thing and in order for them to be safe the time and money needs to be spent in order for maintenace to be effective. I would love to purchase something like an r22 for 50 grand brand new, but I do not see that comming anytime soon and until then I guess I will just have to bite the bullet and spend large sums of money training in a roller skate and learning to fly a real heli.......
