I've noticed that a lot of questions have been asked more than twice here so I've decided to make this FAQ page for everyone, especially those new to VR and the helicopter world. It has a lot of questions that have been asked three or four diffrenet times, but then there are those that deal a lot with some first time questions. The reason I am posting those is because there might be some questions that one may have that have already been answered in those threads. I will add more links if I find more and I imagine that current VR members will post a topic that they feel is important, helpful, or informative (or all three). If your new and reading this I cannot stress this enough USE THE SEARCH FEATURE. One word will do, for example if your looking for a flight school, I'll use Vortex, then type in Vortex and you will get topics that have either mentioned it or deal specificlly with Vortex. I also encourge those of you reading to read the Free Aviation books online thread and Helo Programs through University thread as well.

Getting Started

Please don't get the notion that we are rubbing you off when we say use the search feature or check the FAQ, we get tired of answering the same questions when all someone had to do was take a little time to search the forum. One of the purposes of this site is meant to help those of you interested in the helicopter idustry. We hope you find that here.
