Guest pokey
dont know what the army called theirs, (maybe H-25) but the navy had nearly the exact same one in the late 40's early 50's and called theirs the "HUP Retriever" Made by Piasecki, in Philadelphia, then bought by Boeing-Vertol,and now Boeing Helicopters. Was always one of my favorite helicopters---would love to get hold of one & restore it to flying status,,,,,,Anyone out there care to help? techpilot64
Boeing Vertol 107 CH-46 Sea Knight (it says 'vertol' on the base).... I was going to say Piasecki H-21 Shawnee, but you're right about the Vertol on the base - kinda crummy model though.

NightHawk117
I dont think the base is the original, that is why I was asking what it was. The base says Vertol YHC-1. By the way its a contractors model! Here are a couple of links on the rare models. http://members.chello.nl/m.waterloo/topping_inc.html http://www.commercemarketplace.com/home/Co...helicopter.html
