james28 Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 there we go, i saw it. poor deer, six hours tredding water. to bad we didn't get to see the helicopter. Quote
ADRidge Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 http://www.newsok.com/video/87431/ There's the video. I feel bad for the deer (looks to be a yearling doe) but damn that was funny watching it glide over the ice like a big airhockey puck. Quote
Witch Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 (edited) I saw that on the news this morning. My spousal unit was wondering how the deer was sliding across the ice. I told hew it was from rotor downwash. Big mistake. She didn't understand that the wind goes across the ground after it hits the ground. It's like trying to explain something like the windmill brake effect. But doncha know I really love her. Later Edited January 19, 2007 by Witch Quote
Stolen Rain Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 Poor thing, it must have been so scaredThat's a kinda odd way of helping the deer, but hey.. if it works Quote
