me shakes fist Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 This is from the IMAX film "Straight Up!" I actually just watched that today. Got the DVD in the mail this morning. Quote
gft Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 what is straight up! about? "Straight Up" is a pretty cool IMAX movie about helicpters and the work they perform.DVDs are available online at amazon and ebay.I caught it at an IMAX theatre and it was pretty cool on the big screen. Quote
me shakes fist Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Like gft said, it's a short film originally made for IMAX about a lot of different uses of helicopters. Run time is around 70+ minutes I think and they cover quite a few areas so they don't go into a whole lot of detail with each one, but it's got some awesome shots and it's definitely worth a watch. It includes stuff like EMS, logging, power line repair (obviously, since that was the video posted), coast guard rescue operations, etc. Here is the link to the dvd on amazon. Quote
