West Coaster Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Would any of the GOM companies have an interest in a Canadian fellow with 500 hours (most in the S76) and a current IFR and Night rating, current in the S76 till November. Staying in a multi would be nice, but I'd take a 206 any day too Any thoughts, or should I just go with CHC when I have the hours they want? WC Quote

Flyfisherman79 Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Holy Cow WestCoaster! Man, do you know how many of us down here south of the border would give anything to be in your position right now? 500 hours Flying a 76...... and you would opt for a 206 in the GOM? From what I can gather, down here, you gotta have a couple thousand hours to even get close enough to SEE an S76! From reading previos posts, you are probably flying a blue and white ship (that is this months download desk top background from Vertical Mag). In reading all of the forums, daily, that is ONE company that you DONT hear about. The ones that are kept quiet are much like fishing holes. The good ones just don't show up all over the forums. I dont know how many guys from down here would opt to go North, but I certainly entertain the idea...albeit its a long ways away. Are you feeling ok? Man take a couple days and think that through....seriously. All in good fun, of course. Quote
