betr_thn_Icarus Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 I have recently relocated to Daytona Florida and am looking for the cheap turbine time(if it exists). I just want to buy an hour in a turbine helicopter that I can fly around. I have my private and dual time is fine and preferred. The jetrangers are a little too expensive for me at almost $1000 per hour. I see Marpat's add for $300 but they are pretty far. anything within a couple hundred miles? Thanks for any help. Quote
slick1537 Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 At my school the board says $750 hr for the MD500 but I don't know how that works. Perhaps you should look for a MD to fly? Quote

I live in that area too, lemme know if you need any help. Van Nevel is up in Pensacola which is about a 6 hr drive from DB, but it's cheap, thinking 300-400 an hour.
