They can do some incredible stuff, go into some tight holes, land at ridiculous angles, and lift a decent load too. It'll make you look good when long-lining too. Cheers Quote
Flying Pig Posted February 4, 2004 Author Posted February 4, 2004 Well, I finished my Transition Course, and ended up with 5.5 hours, and about 15 hours of ground school. I feel like I have a pretty good understanding of the aircraft. Now,i could never afford to fly it again, so hopefully I can find some pimp- daddy who will let me fly theirs!!! Quote

HeliMark Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 I was lucky to get over 3,000 hours flying the 500D/E's. Man what a blast they are to fly. Been flying a different helicopter lately and everytime I see a 500, I would love to get back into one for just one more flight. Quote
