He also wasn't sure if it was stolen. Turns out it was just a salvage that was totalled with less than 300 miles on it. It needed fairings & the old paint (was an ugly black/purple/teal so I just painted it what I like). I usually ride full gear except for the occaisional 90 degree hot summer day with full face helmet but shorts, no shirt, & Vans sneakers. 50 mpg no matter how fast I go which ain't real fast but fast enough to kill yourself. I've ranged from NYC to Maine & have dropped it a few times all low speed dumb stuff. Idiot at Dunkin Donuts knocked it over with his F250 and I kept the cash & only replaced a busted clutch peg so its paid for twice over. Nice to have a bike that you don't have to worry about. I think there is lots of transfer in learning between motorcycles & helicopters (pre-flight, mx, procedure, safety, limitations, EP's, wx...etc) Fred will be happy I combined mc, helo & guns ;-) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
