I hear they are quite hard to find..? In the UK at least.. Quote
mrkik Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Buy the new edition. Not hard to find at all. http://www.amazon.com/Principles-Helicopter-Flight-W-Wagtendonk/dp/1560276495 Principles of Helicopter Flight is a very good book. I would recommend it. UK amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=principles+of+helicopter+flight Quote
kodoz Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 My favorite. Should be easy to get off of Amazon (see the list in my signature). Quote
eagle5 Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Lets say you have the Rotorcraft Flying Handbook for the basics (because that one is free) and you want to expand your knowledge, but you can only afford one book. Which would be the better buy, The Principles of Helicopter Flight, or Cyclic and Collective? Quote
Renaud Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 A would say "Cyclic & Collective" is easiest to go trough for a beginner. Then if you like aerodynamic, J. Wagtendonk is the one! Quote
Btshanigan Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 The new edition is great! I still go through it every few weeks and learn something new every time. Quote
