I heard somthing that they closed it, because of construction work, but that was a while ago. Is there now an alternative heliport? Thanks for your help! Thanks for your help!Yes, closed for construction and they don't want to re-open it. PHPA and some of the local operators....and Robinson Helicopters have all been sending letters and attending public hearings in an attempt to get it re-opened. HeloJunkie Posted April 10, 2013 Report Share Posted April 10, 2013 Hey Goldy - I was just told by another rotorhead that he just parked his car right where the west helipad used to be, so I think they like the idea of getting parking revenue over allowing us helicopters to park there....
