WOFT DA Form 61

Hey guys,

 

I just enlisted yesterday for the WOFT program, something I noticed was that my contract was for the ARMY Reserve.

 

According to this document off the WOFT site:

I didn't really have a choice and already knew this was probably going to happen. Thing is I want to go active duty.

 

Any ideas or personal experiences? What would I need to do to go active duty ARMY?

All wo1 are considered active duty "reserves" until you receive your commission from the president at cw2 where you will be considered active duty I think that is what is going on. Sounds like you are set up for active duty but I don't know the whole situation
