Wolo91
During flight school were you able to goof off a bit more than the others due to previous knowledge? (ALSE, Aeromed, Fundamentals of flight etc.)Trying to have some fun while Im there. Ive lived at Rucker previously as a civilian and know the area fairly well so Im trying to take full advantage. You may have a slight advantage in the early stages of flying since you are already somewhat familiar with how the radios, ATC and general flight manuevers work from your time riding around in the back. Gideon
You will also get called out in every single class at the beginning by new instructors. "Where are my former cew chiefs at? Don't be shy!" Followed up by "Am I right (crew chief)?" When telling Army tales. On the topic of goofing off there is plenty of downtime between courses to relax. Also take Friday and Saturday off so you dont burn out then hit the books Sunday again when you are in your flight line courses.
Wolo91
Thanks for the help I also forgot to mention I’ve been crewing 72s for the last 2 years and have the current Rucker special for it. Hopefully that will help a bit.
