What a beautiful thing! Once my hover was stable, so were my jitters. It's amazing how your first solo can rekindle the fire of motivation that has been suffocating from frustration. Quite the confidence builder.

You were probably at a plateau in learning. Now that you are doing solo, you will feel like you are learning again on every flight. ...and it is a HUGE confidence builder. I can remember writing down every airspace, frequency and route I would take before each flight...so I wouldnt stutter or have to think when talking on the radio. I hated it when they would give me a discrete code (Class C) for transition...I hated taking a hand off the collective for even that 2 seconds to set the transponder!!

Wow, how time changes things !

Congrats and good luck on your next flights.

Congrats! I know I couldn't wipe the smile off of my face when I did my solo. Flyin' like a grownup! Good job and good luck on the next steps...

Congratulations! That is the coolest feeling, isn't it?

Just wait till you get back from your solo cross-country, than you will really start feeling like a pilot!
