Does anyone have a recommendation or two for helicopter flight schools in the Houston area?  I'm asking around for a couple guys at work.  Thanks.

Salaika Aviation... I think he still does some stuff.  He's just outside of Houston between EFD and Brazoria County.

Tim Salaika

Enstroms

There are a few schools in the Houston area. As previously mentioned Tim Salaika at Salaika Aviation in Danbury, TX. I did my instrument and CFII there. He is knowledgeable and straight forward to deal with. He uses Enstroms.

There is Apex Helicopters in Pearland who use Robinsons. And Helicopter Services Inc out of David Wayne Hooks airport on the north side of Houston. They also use Robinsons.

Finally there is Neches Helicopters in Beaumont. They use Gambril Cabri.

Good luck.

Helicopter Services got out of the flight training market.

I don't know it Anythings Possible Aviation is still doing it or not, over at Weiser Field.

Nobody is doing anything at Weiser or Hooks anymore.  Galaxy in Conroe has R22 & R44 training.  Contact Matt Goodwin.

David Lewis is doing freelance out of Hooks in a leased R44 Raven II.  I just got my private add on with him.  I can give you his contact info if you like.

TXSoccerRef,

How is David doing? I have not flown or talked to him in several years. I use to work with one of his cousins and she introduced us.
