RkyMtnHI
Hey All, We just got back from Dr. Larry Lay's doing an instructor sign off for the R44 for two instructors. What a great time! I will get a post on the trip up as soon as i decompress, we flew 17 hours in two an a half days so i am beat. I did want to post some photos of his Bell 47.. i took these while the other guys were flying. It was in the hangar so the photos are not the best.. also, i didn't have time to edit as usual so i just posted them all.. sorry about the duplicates. http://s298.photobucket.com/albums/mm243/R...nHI2/Bell%2047/ aloha, dp

Goldy
Looks like a pretty nice D1... Definitely an oldie, I think the D model was the last to have the tank in the rear, but who can remember! Very nice looking ship.....you should have taken it for a ride ! Goldy
arotrhd
....but it is really going to hurt the 47 crowd as M/R sets are running nearly $150K.... YIKES! -WATCH FOR The WIRES-

YIKES! -WATCH FOR The WIRES- Not for the D1, they have wood blades...the G3B2's with the long weighted blades are the expensive ones...Bell wants people to buy 407's instead of keeping the 47's going...
