yzchopper Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Does anyone know of any operators in the Northwest that uses the R44 for cropdusting? What model of R44 do they use? I've seen and used mainly the Hiller 12E, 206A/B and Bell 47. Thanks Steve Quote
Kandace Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 This isn't the Northwest but I know an operator here in Wisconsin that has two R44's for ag work. One is an Astro and the other a Raven 2. Kandace Quote
yzchopper Posted January 20, 2010 Author Posted January 20, 2010 I have heard of and seen a few videos of those using R44's around that area. I was just curious if there were any in the Northwest. Thanks I do appreciate the reply. Steve Quote
yzchopper Posted February 6, 2010 Author Posted February 6, 2010 Well looks like I may end up flying ag work this summer using the Alouette II instead of the R44. Thanks for the reply Kandace. Steve Quote

yzchopper Posted February 7, 2010 Author Posted February 7, 2010 If all pans out and I do fly the Alouette II you bet I will get photos and video. Quote

Steve Awesome! Big congrats on getting into a hard niche to get started in! I am still hoping for my chance to fly AG someday. Quote
Trans Lift Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 I just got a job with an operator in New England that flies 44's in the cranberry bogs. Spraying and lifting work! Seems like it works pretty well for it. Season starts in the next two weeks, I'm excited!! Quote
adam32 Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 If all pans out and I do fly the Alouette II you bet I will get photos and video. Actually, I'm curious who has an Alouette that has its airworthiness cert still...? Quote
